Make your own Logos     Submissions     Where's my Logo?     Thats MY logo
Looking for Logos!

We are always looking for new logos to add to the My Channel Logos. If you'd like to make your own, click the link "Make your own Logos" above for some instructions. Here are some general guidelines for your submissions.

-Size
  • 42 px by 96 px
  • If your logo is not wide enough: Do not center it in a 96 pixel space. Cut the width down so it just fits the logo. No padding!
  • If your logo is not tall enough: Center the logo vertically in a transparent 42 x 96 pixel background.
-Color
  • We ask that you submit two copies of your logos, one that is completely white, and one that is in color
  • For color logos, try to remain as true to the original colors as possible.
  • If a color logo doesn't appear well on the Media Center Background, just stick with the all-white logo
  • In most cases, the logo should be on a transparent background.
-Content
  • Try to make the logo fill in the 96 x 42 pixel space, but do not simply stretch the image to fit the space. You may have to use a little creativity to achieve this- some logos end up so small they are impossible to see! For example, the old Comedy Central text used to be small text inside the little blue speech box. I took it out of the box, moved it to the side, and enlarged it:

  • Remove any TMs, (c) or (r). While we respect all legal rights to these logos, they end up just looking like single pixel dots on our screen, making them effectively pointless
-Naming
  • Save your logo as a png
  • Name the white logo the same as it's callsign (check My Channel Logos for it's callsign): CALLSIGN.png
  • Name the color logo the same as it's callsign, plus _c: CALLSIGN_c.png
  • If your callsign has a character not allowed in windows files, like ><:/?\|, replace that character with ~
  • If one logo is supposed to match more than one callsign, provide a text document that lists all the possible callsigns so that we can add it to the database
